Often described as the figure skating of equestrian sport, Dressage showcases the beauty, athleticism and strength of the horse, as well as their bond with a rider. U.S. Open – Dressage will showcase several horse-and rider pairs as they perform a choreographed routine with no jumping involved. Judged from the sidelines by predetermined judges, they will receive a score out of 100. The highest score at the end of competition will be draped in winner’s ribbons.
